About BlynkAudit

BlynkAudit scores how ready a retail business is for a world where AI agents, not just people, decide what gets found, recommended, and bought.

It exists because that shift is already underway, and almost no one has an honest measure of where they stand in it.

The story behind it

I didn't set out to build software. I built BlynkAudit because I'd already spent years watching where AI was taking retail, and I could see that almost nobody was ready for what came next.

For over 20 years I've worked inside large, complex organisations, the last six leading insights functions for multi-billion dollar companies. At IKEA Australia I was an early adopter and internal AI champion, working hands-on with the projects that put AI to work inside the business well before it became a boardroom talking point. That's the vantage point where I saw the next shift forming.

The way customers find, evaluate, and buy is moving toward AI agents and assistants, and most organisations have no honest picture of whether they're visible, legible, or competitive in that new layer. Leadership teams are under pressure to "do something with AI," but the more urgent question is whether their own business is even readable to the systems that are starting to mediate every decision. No baseline. No view of where they actually stand. Just urgency, vendors, and hope.

I've sat in the rooms where those decisions get made, and I know what the post-mortems look like twelve months later. The pattern is almost always the same. The technology isn't the problem. Readiness is. Nobody asks the unglamorous questions first.

So I built the thing that asks them. BlynkAudit gives organisations a structured, evidence-based readiness audit before they commit budget, so adopting AI is approached the way every other serious investment decision is: with a clear-eyed view of the starting position.

How BlynkAudit works

BlynkAudit assesses a business across four pillars, each measuring a different dimension of agentic readiness.

Every score is grounded in live scans and evidence-based assessment, not guesswork. BlynkAudit runs that analysis across markets in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, which means each audit is read against real benchmarks rather than in isolation. That cross-market dataset grows with every scan, and it's what turns a single score into a position you can understand relative to your category and your peers.

Why trust an audit from a founder you've never heard of?

Fair question. I'm not a developer who discovered AI and went looking for a problem to attach it to. I led insights for multi-billion dollar businesses and was the AI champion inside IKEA Australia, working on real AI adoption years before most teams had a strategy for it. I saw the agentic shift coming early because I'd already lived through the wave before it. BlynkAudit's framework comes from that experience, not from a template.
